Both Dr. Murphy and his staff are amazing! From the moment I stepped in for my consultation I felt comfortable. Dr. Murphy answered questions I had before I was able to ask. He was the second doctor I had gotten a consultation from, and after my consultation I immediately knew he was the perfect doctor for me! I had a breast augmentation done, and I’m far beyond pleased with the results!! I honestly can’t put into words how happy I am! The entire staff is so sweet, knowledgeable, and helpful! He for sure exceeded my expectations. His staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about all the new implants and techniques out there. REVISION...rib graft for tip projection so I can BREATHE! I'm day 6. And I am having troubles breathing. I hope this is swelling 🙁 I had this done because my first procedure he used ear cartlidge. Well my tip was collapsing & I haven't been able to breathe at all for the last year. At my year follow up he thought taking rib, and projecting tip would make things right. I was okay for the first so many days. I felt stuffy. Then it would subside. But the last 2 days I'm so so so so stuffed almost BLOCKED in my right nostril. The one I had issues with always. Kinda panicking. Had a really bad day yesterday. Anxiety was THROUGH THE ROOF cause I couldn't breathe :(. Today I'm getting stitches out. BUT my dr is gone for 2 weeks. So I can't see him him he's back to talk about what's possibly going on. I just HOPE this worked :(( My rib is looking abnormal. It's protruding idk if I should be concerned? I'm still very congested 🙁 more on my right side. And swollen. Not looking my nose right now from the front. I'm praying it's Just swelling :(. I can't go through this again I'm 3 weeks out. I'm still super stuffy. I've got really BAD DAYS AND GOOD DAYS :(. I'm trying to be patient. I love dr Murphy. He's great his team is great! I can't wait until I can breathe normally Swelling goes down I'm not sure why this is happening but I'm completely miserable and going to an ENT to see that is going on. I've had 2 surgeries. And still Can't Breathe. I've had it 🙁 and I'm tired of living this way. I WISH I never spent this money!
I came across Dr. Murphy’s name via the American Board of Plastic Surgery website as I was researching breast augmentation. I read every online review I could find before making my consult appointment. I submitted my information over the weekend and then was contacted on Monday to set up an appointment. To be honest, I also contacted another highly rated plastic surgeon in the Denver Metro area at the same time. However, they take your credit card information down just for a consult appointment because if you cancel within 24 hours, you would be charged a missed consult fee of $75. That rubbed me the wrong way so I refused to proceed with that Dr. But Dr. Murphy’s office was different. The very nice staff worked with me and my husband’s schedule, so we could both be there to discuss the breast augmentation I was interested in. They made us a consult appointment for 2 days later. At the initial consult, I think I met almost every staff member! They make you feel very welcome! We initially met with one of the nurses to go over sizing options. I was extremely nervous, so it was nice that she was so helpful and reassuring. She provided me with a bra that would easily let the sizers slide in and out so I could judge how I would look with various cc’s. My husband was provided with a comfortable chair to be with me the whole time. As you’ll read on a lot of websites, it’s smart to have a second pair of eyes with you to help you determine how big you want to go. Then, Dr. Murphy came in and took measurements and started talking about width, diameter, sizing, look, style, etc… Up until that point, I didn’t realize how much of an art plastic surgery really is! Not just anyone has an “eye” for it, but Dr. Murphy is someone I would definitely consider an “artist”. In fact, he admitted his art passion as him and my husband (a sketch artist) were discussing various paintings in his office. Then Dr. Murphy took us to his office to discuss various materials and he gave us samples of his previous work. The whole time, I was really nervous but he talked me through every question I had. (I am not going to put the specifics of my sizing on here but will do so on the RealSelf website as it’s a little more private). Dr. Murphy spent at least 1.5 hours with us and was very patient throughout the whole process and our thousands of questions. Then we met with the office manager, Lindsey, (who is just so lovely and amazing herself) and scheduled the surgery. I scheduled the surgery for exactly 8 days later which was fantastic. (Again the other place I had contacted was going to make me wait two months for surgery, but I wanted to do it early in the summer so I could be healed for some of the swimsuit season) 2 days later I had my pre-op appointment where you are given a checklist of what you need to do to prepare. They give you a handy folder so you can keep organized and check off the to-do items! Then surgery came and it was a breeze! I was nervous, but again, the wonderful staff are so friendly, engaging, and always smiling that it completely calms your nerves. I am now 10 days post-op and am raving about the experience! I really like Dr. Murphy as a person, he is easy to talk to and is extremely patient and has the best staff by his side. If you’re thinking about going somewhere else for plastic surgery, don’t. Just go to Dr. Murphy and I know you’ll be ecstatic with your results and the whole experience!
Amazing Lindsey G. is extremely helpful and highly professional member of Dr. Murphy's team. Her smile and attitude is very welcoming and she is the best at her job. Shelby, who also assists Dr. Murphy in the operating room, was professional and very friendly. I was so happy to see her again the day of my surgery. Dr. Murphy is a rockstar! He was informative about the procedure and risks, helped me choose a size that is right for my body, and made me feel comfortable and safe from start to finish. I had a breast augmentation and my results are incredible! Dr. Murphy really worked his magic.
Doctor Murphy is absolutely amazing, along with his wonderfully outgoing staff! He knew exactly what I needed to achieve my goals. He was not pushy what so ever and his consults were free! I had a tragedy happen right before my surgery and they were nothing but attentive and sensitive to my needs! I decided to move forward with my surgery a month later and they were right there to pick up where I left off and more! Dr. Murphy has a great bedside manner and he absolutely knows what he is doing! I will never go anywhere else!!!! This office is so warm, welcoming and I can assure you, you or I will not find better care!!
